The difference between Buddha and God

The difference betweeen Buddhism and Christianity is that Buddha is the believer's "teacher", while God is the believer's "master."

Why there are so many Buddhas, bodhisattvas and deities in Buddhism?

Buddhism is atheistic. Buddhahood is achieved by sentient beings, a bodhisattva assists Buddhas in liberating beings, and deities protect the Three Jewels so the Dharma may be promoted.

Is it possible to combine religions?

Since all faiths encourage virtue, there is great potential for cooperation in good works and, with mutual respect, dialogue between religions is possible. Yet their beliefs can never converge.

Is Guanyin (Avalokitesvara) Bodhisattva a real historical person?

Guyanyin Bodhisattva listens to calls for help and relieves suffering by manifesting in different forms.
