Fourfold Assemblies of Buddhist Disciples Mourn the Passing of Master Hsing Yun: Dharma Drum Mountain Abbot President Writes a Letter to Fo Guang Shan in Commemoration of the Master’s Death

On February 6, Dharma Drum Mountain Abbot President Ven. Guo Huei sent a letter to Ven. Hsin Bao, Head Abbot of Fo Guang Shan, to express gratitude and remembrance on behalf of Dharma Drum Mountain, for the Dharma contributions of Fo Guang Shan founder Master Hsing Yun. Meanwhile, DDM's former Abbot President, Ven. Guo Dong, also headed to the Fo Guang Shan headquarters to pay his tribute.

On behalf of the DDM Sangha, Ven. Guo Huei expressed his grateful appreciation to the Master for dedicating his life to leading the disciples and devotees of the monastery, cultivating monastic talent, and showing loving care and support for DDM founder Master Sheng Yen and sangha while he was alive. All the DDM monastic and lay practitioners are appreciative and grateful for the great kindness of Master Hsing Yun. They will always remember his legacy and sincerely pray for him to enjoy the ultimate happiness of serene stillness and carry out his vows to return to the Saha World to deliver sentient beings.
