DDM Buddhist Centre Malaysia Leading a Half-day Retreat for Life Practitioner of Xiao En Group

On the morning of January 12^th 2024, more than ten frontline funeral professionals from "Life Practitioner" of Xiao En Group had a half-day retreat to experience methods for relaxing both body and mind at Dharma Drum Mountain (DDM) Buddhist Centre Malaysia.

Director Ven. Chang Zao commenced the session by introducing the Chan practice promoted by DDM, which serves as a method for everyone to calm their body and mind, as well as stabilize their moods in the midst of their busy lives. Starting with the purification of an individual's mind, this approach can realize the goal of purifying society. The Venerable also shared with everyone the Buddhist perspective on life and death, and end-of-life care.
