Event Description
This retreat will cover all major Chan methods of meditation. It will apply classical Right View to these methods to make the methods more effective. The ancient Chan Masters have stated that for one to practice Chan they must have a “true and proper understanding.”

Right View is an exploration into how Mind works. Thus the participants will be instructed into how to "turn the Mind's eye inward" to utilize Buddha Mind perception applied to their methods.

Gilbert presents this instruction in a manner that is beneficial to all levels of practitioners from novice to advanced practitioners.  He has used this training in many venues worldwide to successfully advance the practice of practitioners.  Many practitioners have shown great progress in not only their mediation but  doctrinal understanding.
