The foundational program of the Center, Chan meditation course is a starting point on the path of cultivation of the mind. The course is led by our teacher, Chan master Žarko Andričević. You will learn what Chan meditation is, why it is important to cultivate the mind and how to do it.


For the past 25 years, our meditation course has consistently upheld the highest standards in meditation instruction, both in Croatia and internationally.

The course is suitable for beginners as well as people who already practice meditation but seek a comprehensive and accurate introduction to the practice.

You have an option to join either in-person at the Hartovski Vrh Retreat Center or online. While both options are available, we highly recommend attending in-person for a more holistic experience. English translation will be provided through Zoom. If you choose to join online, please note that active participation with your camera on is required.

Suggested donation:
 
Recommended donation covers four carefully prepared vegetarian meals (lunch and dinner on Saturday; breakfast and lunch on Sunday), shared accommodation with usage of all other facilities, and operational costs. It does not include donation for teaching.

Number of places is limited, your spot is reserved upon paying the suggested donation.
