The True Self in the Buddhist Perspective

The foolish self is the self that suffers and enjoys happiness in turn in the process of cause and effect.



Illness is normal and will help us develop a greater understanding of the process of life. We should view illness with detached observation and equanimity, as an experience to pay off our karmic debt.

By turning obstacles into fostering forces and transforming unfavorable situations into favorable ones, we are able to grow in wisdom and compassion.
