More than ever these days, people are overwhelmed. What can we do to make managing a stressful and chaotic life easier? "Stillness" is the key. "Stillness" means silence, tranquility and the absence of noise and motion. It is a state of being, naturally present in the heart of every human being. With the being of "stillness", we remain unaffected by any movement, action or doing even though it moves, acts and does. It is like the depth of the ocean unaffected by the waves on the surface. It is the ability to surrender to our inner-heart, have peace to establish a clear sense of awareness of our mind, body, spirit and surroundings. Thus we can make sound decisions, take action and live a serene and dynamic life.
This non-traditional seven-day practice includes:
- Daily afternoon Dharma talks, live streamed 1:30pm ET and will be available any time via video recordings.
- Daily email reflections selected from Master Sheng Yen's text to inspire our learning.
- Daily opportunities for three guided meditation periods, in our Online Meditation Hall with participants from around the world.
