Let's Celebrate Buddha's Birthday Online! (Video Uploaded)
Apr. 8 in the Lunar calendar, which usually happens in May every year, is Shakyamuni Buddha's birthday. During May, monasteries and branches of Dharma Drum Mountain (DDM) conduct Bathing the Buddha ceremony and Dharma assemblies to commemorate the Buddha's birthday.
This year, DDM sincerely invites you to bathe the Buddha online. With each scoop of water pouring on the Buddha statue, we vow to liberate ourselves from suffering.
