Form VI - Body Stretch





1. Joined Palm

2.Sit up straight

3.Relax the whole body

4.Place the right palm on the upper back where the neck meets the shoulders

5.Hold the right elbow with the left hand

6.Slowly tilt the body to the left

7.Be aware of the stretching of the arms, shoulders, and back

8.Slowly return the body to its upright position

9.Join palms

10.Be aware of the relaxing sensation in the whole body

11.Place the left palm on the upper back where the neck meets the shoulders

12.Hold the left elbow with the right hand

13.Slowly tilt the body to the right

14.Be aware of the stretching of the arms, shoulders, and back

15.Slowly return the body to its upright position

16.Join palms

17.Be aware of the relaxing sensation in the whole body

18.Change sides

19.Be aware of the stretching of the arms, shoulders, and back

20.Slowly return the body to its upright position

21.Join palms

22.Be aware of the relaxing sensation in the whole body

23.Change sides

24.Be aware of the stretching of the arms, shoulders, and back

25.Slowly return the body to its upright position

26.Join palms

27.Be aware of the relaxing sensation in the whole body

28.Next

29.Raise the left hand and reach over the shoulder

30.Stretching the hand as far down the back as possible

31.With the right hand reach behind and place the hand against the back





32.Palm facing outward and reach upward as far as possible

33.Clasp the hands if you can

34.Be aware of the stretching of the shoulders and arms

35.Release the tension

36.And be aware of the relaxing sensation in the shoulders and arms

37.Slowly place the hands on the thighs

38.Be aware of the relaxing sensation in the whole body

39.Change sides

40.Stretch the right hand downward and left hand upward

41.Be aware of the stretching sensation in the shoulders and arms

42.Slowly place the hands on the thighs

43.Be aware of the relaxing sensation in the whole body

44.Change sides

45.Be aware of the stretching of the shoulders and arms

46.Release the tension

47.Be aware of the relaxing sensation in the whole body

48.Slowly place the hands on the thighs

49.Be aware of the relaxing sensation in the whole body

50.Change sides
